Jason Lettmann
Principal
Jason Lettmann is a Principal on Morgenthaler Ventures' Life Science Team. Jason is based in Menlo Park, CA, and primarily focuses on investments in medical devices.
Before joining Morgenthaler, Jason was a Vice President at Split Rock Partners where he focused on venture investments in the life science and medical device sectors. Jason was a co-founder and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Yeti Medical. During his tenure at Split Rock, Jason was also a Board observer of Entellus Medical, Zyga Technologies, and Ardian and was actively involved with the firm's investments in Cabochon Aesthetics, ForSight Labs, EBR Systems, Miramar Labs and The Foundry.
Prior to Split Rock, Jason was a consultant with Accenture's Health and Life Science practice, where he advised clients across the medical device, pharmaceutical and health payer sectors. His previous experience also includes tenure with Guidant Corporation's Compass and West Coast business development group and as a genetic research analyst at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Education:
Jason holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and a BA with honors from the University of Iowa.
